Autzen Stadium was named in 8 student housing posts in Eugene this week, so it is no surprise that people search for UO apartments near Autzen Stadium. If you plan to bike to class, the area around the stadium may be on your list. This guide sticks to what we can stand behind: what students wrote in a local Eugene housing group, and the fields on our own live listings. Where we do not have a fact, we say so rather than guess. You can see every current option on our Eugene off-campus listings page, and below we compare five listings you can look at today.

UO apartments near Autzen Stadium for students who bike to class

One point up front. None of our current listings is identified, in its title or address, as being near Autzen Stadium. The five listings below are comparisons, not stadium-area listings, and we will not describe them as close to the stadium. We also do not hold bike routes, bike times, walk times or bus routes. Each listing does carry a Distance by Car field that the lister fills in, in broad bands such as under 5 minutes, and that is the only distance figure we quote.

Listings to compare include The Hayward at $725/month, Ducks Village Lease Takeover at $676/month, Arena District at $850/month, Chapter at Eugene at $1,449/month, and Spacious 4-BR East Campus Home at $4,600/month.

What Students Posted in Eugene This Week

Between October 12 and 16, 2026, we analyzed 61 new student posts from a local Eugene housing group. Across those posts, the median rent per person that students quoted was $800, taken from 59 dollar amounts, with four posts carrying scam markers left out. That figure is not our listing data and not a market rate. It is the middle of what people were asking and offering that week.

Compared with the baseline across the school groups we track, the Eugene posts leaned toward parking (51% of posts), in-unit laundry (46%), pets (26%), furnished places (43%), walk-to-campus (34%), utilities included (16%) and roommate searches (43%). The floor plans named most often were 2 bedroom (13 posts), 4 bedroom (11) and 2b2b (7). By place and feature, Eugene came up in 19 posts, hot tub in 12, Autzen Stadium in 8 and bike storage in 7. We do not have a rent figure for posts near the stadium specifically, so we cannot tell you what a room there typically costs.

UO Apartments Near Autzen Stadium: What We Can and Cannot Tell You

Here is the honest picture for UO apartments near Autzen Stadium. Autzen Stadium sits on the north side of the Willamette River, across the river from the main campus. Beyond that, we do not hold data on which streets or buildings around it have student housing, how long a bike ride from there takes, or what rents look like nearby. If a listing elsewhere tells you it is near the stadium, ask for the exact address and check the route yourself.

What we can show you is the detail on our own Eugene listings. The Hayward is a furnished one bedroom, one bathroom listing at $725/month on a year lease (12 months), with a lease timing of Sept 2026 - Aug 2027 and a Distance by Car of 5 - 10 minutes. Ducks Village Lease Takeover is a furnished apartment with one bedroom and two bathrooms at $676/month on a year lease with a lease timing of 09/01/26-08/31/27 and a Distance by Car of more than 10 minutes. Arena District is furnished, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms at $850/month on a year lease running Sept 2026-Aug 2027, with a Distance by Car of under 5 minutes; it is not marked as rent by room, so ask whether that figure is per room or for the whole unit.

Chapter at Eugene is furnished, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms at $1,449/month on a year lease with a lease timing of 9/1/2026 and a Distance by Car of under 5 minutes; ask what that price covers. Spacious 4-BR East Campus Home is a furnished house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms at $4,600/month, with a lease type of 9 months, a lease timing of 8/1/2026 and a Distance by Car of under 5 minutes. The East Campus wording is the lister's own.

Tips for Students Who Bike to Class in Eugene

  • Ask whether the building has bike storage, whether it is indoors and secured, and whether there is a fee or a waiting list.

  • Ask whether bikes are allowed inside units or on balconies, since rules differ between buildings and landlords.

  • Request the exact address and plan your own bike route to class before you sign, rather than relying on a listing title or the Distance by Car band.

  • Confirm whether the listed price is for one room or the whole unit, and whether utilities, internet and parking are included.

A few more points are worth thinking through. Bike storage came up in 7 of this week's Eugene posts, so you are not the only student asking about it. When a lister says storage is available, ask how many spaces there are compared with the number of residents, whether it is covered, and who holds the keys or access codes. If storage is shared or limited, you may want to budget for a sturdy lock.

Parking showed up in 51% of the posts that week. Even if you plan to bike most days, ask whether a parking space comes with the unit and what it costs, since it affects the real monthly price and is useful for visitors or bad-weather days.

If you are thinking about a lease takeover, such as the Ducks Village listing above, ask to see the original lease and confirm the landlord approves the transfer in writing. In a takeover the lease is usually moved into your name, while in a sublease the original tenant often stays responsible, so ask which arrangement you are being offered.

Before you start messaging listers, decide your limits: the most you can pay each month, whether you need secure bike storage, whether you want furniture included, and how long a lease you can sign. With those answers ready, you can compare listings in Eugene quickly and fairly.
