If you are searching for UCF shuttle route apartments, you probably want one thing: a place in Orlando where getting to class does not depend on fighting for a parking spot every morning. This guide is honest about what we can and cannot tell you on that front, and it points you to the current off-campus listings near Orlando so you can compare real options as you read.

UCF shuttle route apartments: the stops students actually use

Here is the plain truth up front. We do not hold shuttle route maps, stop locations, schedules or ridership figures for any property, so this post cannot rank the stops students actually use, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we do have is the Distance by Car field on each listing, shown in bands such as under 5 minutes, 5 to 10 minutes and more than 10 minutes. We use that field throughout this guide instead of a stop ranking, and we show you how to get the shuttle answer directly from a landlord before you commit to a lease.

Begin your search at Off-Campus Universe, where you can browse current listings near Orlando.

Right now you can compare listings such as Campus Crossings on Alafaya at $865/month, Northgate Lakes at $899/month, Plaza On University Relets at $1,039/month, College Station Relet Available $799/m at $799/month, and Condo Room- The Crest at Waterford Lakes at $900/month.

Comparing Orlando Listings by Distance by Car

Since we cannot map shuttle stops, the most useful thing we can do is lay out exactly what each listing says. Northgate Lakes and Plaza On University Relets both list a Distance by Car of under 5 minutes. Campus Crossings on Alafaya and College Station Relet Available $799/m both list 5 to 10 minutes. Condo Room- The Crest at Waterford Lakes lists more than 10 minutes, which makes it the listing on this page where the commute question deserves the most attention before you sign anything.

On size, Campus Crossings on Alafaya is listed with 1 bed and 1.5 baths, Northgate Lakes with 1 bed and 1 bath, Plaza On University Relets with 2 beds and 2 baths, College Station Relet Available $799/m with 4 beds and 4 baths, and the condo room at The Crest at Waterford Lakes with 1 bed and 1 bath. All five are marked furnished, and all five are listed as year leases of 12 months.

Lease timing is where they differ most. Campus Crossings on Alafaya lists June 2026-July 2027, Northgate Lakes lists Aug 2026 - July 2027, Plaza On University Relets lists 8/15/2026, College Station Relet Available $799/m lists August 2026-July, and the condo room at The Crest at Waterford Lakes lists Aug 2026 - Aug 2027. Two of the five, Plaza On University Relets and College Station Relet Available $799/m, are relets by their own titles, which means someone is handing over a lease they already signed. That matches what students are posting: across the 47 student posts we analyzed from local Orlando housing groups for Oct 5-12, 2026, 62% mentioned a sublease or lease takeover.

One more caution on price. The monthly figure on a multi-bedroom listing does not always say whether it covers one bedroom or the whole unit. College Station Relet Available $799/m is listed with 4 beds and 4 baths at $799/month, and Plaza On University Relets with 2 beds and 2 baths at $1,039/month, so ask each lister exactly what that number pays for before you compare it with anything else.

UCF Shuttle Route Apartments: How to Check the Route Yourself

When you search for UCF shuttle route apartments, the listings you find will rarely tell you which stop is closest, how often a bus comes, or whether service keeps running through summer and school breaks. None of the five listings above includes shuttle information in the data we hold, so do not assume any of them sits on a route. The reliable approach is to ask the leasing office, or the student reletting the unit, for the name of the nearest stop, then check that stop against the current schedule published by whoever operates the service. Ask whether shuttle access is included in your rent or billed as a separate fee, what time the last pickup leaves on weekdays, and whether the route changes on weekends or during exams. If the answer comes back vague, treat the Distance by Car band as your baseline and plan for driving, biking or getting a ride.

It also helps to know what other students are focused on. Across those same 47 student posts from Oct 5-12, 2026, the median rent people quoted was $933 per person; that figure comes from student posts in local housing groups, not from our listings, so read it on its own. In the same posts, 62% mentioned furnished units, 40% mentioned a pool or gym, and 36% mentioned parking. The terms students used most often in their own words included Orlando (13 mentions), Valencia (8), Northgate Lakes (5) and Oviedo (4). If parking keeps coming up in your own search too, ask every landlord about parking costs and permits at the same time you ask about the shuttle.

A final point on comparing options: a listing that is close by car and a listing with a convenient shuttle stop solve the same problem in different ways. Write down, for each place you are considering, how you would get to your first class of the day and how you would get home after your last one. If one of those trips has no clear answer, that is the question to put to the landlord before you put down a deposit.

Tips for Choosing an Apartment Near a Shuttle Stop

  • Get the stop name in writing. Ask the landlord or leasing office to name the nearest stop in an email, then look up that stop and its schedule yourself.

  • Test the trip at your real class times. Make the trip at the hour you would actually leave for an early class, and again for the trip home, before you commit.

  • Confirm what the price covers. On multi-bedroom listings, ask whether the monthly figure is per bedroom or for the whole unit, and which utilities or fees are extra.

  • Read relet and takeover terms closely. Ask whether the original lease end date, deposit and any transfer fee carry over to you, and get the property manager's approval in writing.
